Hero Horsemanship Clinics
There’s nothing quite as healing as spending an afternoon with horses. Our Hero Horsemanship Clinics offer the opportunity to learn and practice basic horsemanship skills. No experience is necessary, only a desire to learn about and spend time with horses. These clinics are for veterans, first responders, and their families who want to unwind and experience the release that comes from spending time with horses. Participants rotate through
horsemanship “stations” where we learn and practice basic horse safety, grooming, leading, and groundwork. Participants will have an opportunity to lead horses through an obstacle course and for those interested in riding, a riding lesson will be provided (optional). These clinics are free for veterans and first responders. All clinics are from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Limited to 12 participants.
