Welcome Volunteers of All Skill Levels & Experience!
As a small non-profit, we rely on the time and talents of our volunteer community. Our volunteers help with everything from feeding and mucking to grooming and fence mending. It takes a village to run Allegiance Ranch and our village rocks!
Volunteer Orientation
To ensure the safety of our volunteers and horses, volunteers must participate in an orientation session before they begin volunteering. Training includes an introduction to the rescue horses, barn chores, and basic horse handling.
A few important things to note:
- No prior experience is necessary.
- We welcome volunteers ages 8 and older, however a parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of 14. Close supervision is required at all times.
- Closed-toe shoes are required when working at the ranch.
- Companion animals (service animals excepted) are not permitted on the ranch for their safety and the safety of our animals.
Orientation Dates: Please register for orientation by clicking HERE. Registration is required as is a $10 fee. A fee is charged due to the high rate of turnover among volunteers and the time required for training. Your $10 fee goes directly to the care and feeding of our rescue herd.
